Senior Staff Therapist
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor #13781
Jennifer is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (A.P.C.C.) working with a wide range of mental health issues. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Clinical and School Counseling from California State University, Northridge. As a part of her graduate school experience she has a Pupil Personnel Services (P.P.S.) credential which is specific to counseling students in the K-12 public school setting.
She has lived in the diverse community of Los Angeles county, specifically San Fernando Valley, her entire life. She did not have the easiest time growing up or gaining her footing as a young adult which is what she believes has given her a lifelong passion to serve at risk youth. Jennifer has always been an advocate for mental health and stepped into a more formal role in her twenties assisting foster youth throughout the Los Angeles area.
With her diverse background and well-rounded training, Jennifer can provide a helpful perspective to the problems youth’s face today. Her approach to therapy is individually based by developing a true connection in therapy which allows Jennifer and her clients to create an intimate therapeutic setting.
“We do have a good time in here and though therapy can get us through the rough patches I believe it to be an important life-long self-care practice just like the gym, eating healthy, or any other wellness tool.”
Jennifer has experience working with a wide range of issues including: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relational problems, addiction, motivation and more. She really looks forward to working with you and your family.
