Hi, I am Rosie Fiore and I am an associate marriage and family therapist here at Teen Therapy Center in beautiful Woodland Hills, California. I am a wife, a mom of two teenagers, and somewhere in there I try to work full time, keep my house clean-ish, kind of. And if I'm having a good week, there might be some food in the refrigerator.

I specialize in adolescent therapy and family systems, but I also am passionate about working with adults going through, like, big life transitions. I know how it feels when the family that you worked so hard to create and that you love so, so much is just, like, off. And you may be just so caught up in your own emotions that you cannot figure out how to fix it. Well, the good news is, it is not broken and neither are you. It's just sometimes we're too close to an issue to see it clearly. So I find that sometimes the tools that we've been using in the past to process and cope with life can, can use an upgrade.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all therapy approach. I think each individual, obviously, is the sum total of all of their experiences. Life as a teen is noisy. Everyone from social media, their teachers, their friends, you, their mother-in-laws, everyone's trying to tell the teens what to think and what to do. So I find it more important now than ever to really help the teens recognize and discover their own voices inside and, and learn how to identify it and turn down everyone else's and turn theirs up.

I love working with people in person the most, but I also know that sometimes that is not physically possible, so I do offer online sessions as well. I prefer that with adults because teens, it's really tough with them and screens.

I also have an online group therapy that I call, uh, Moms Mental Tune-Up, and it's for moms of high school and college-aged kids who are looking to kind of change the focus back on themselves, and you can check out more about that, Moms Mental Tune-Up, on our website. And, uh, yeah. Thank you so much for listening. If you have any questions or would like a consultation or anything, you can just reach out to me and I would love to hear from you. Thank you so much.

Hi, I’m Rosie Fiore, a native Valley Girl and a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist right here in Los Angeles. I work with clients both in person in Woodland Hills or online from the comfort of your home. As a wife and mother of two teen boys, I deeply understand the dynamics and intense complexities of family life, and I truly believe in the transformative power of family therapy for us as individuals as well as a family system. A family operates as an interconnected system, so when one member is experiencing difficulties, it creates ripples that affect everyone.

Beyond family work, I also have a passion for supporting parents as individuals. It’s so easy to become defined by our roles as partners, parents and our careers. We can lose sight of the unique individuals we were before these roles took center stage. You began this life with your own dreams, expectations, and a vision of what your life would look like…but as you know, life happens. Everything is constantly changing. For instance, our bodies are constantly renewing, our cells regenerate significantly every 7 to 10 years, our hair and skin changes (dramatically), and we wake up one day and often we do not recognize ourselves. Therapy offers a valuable space to reconnect with yourself, to check in and rediscover what brings you fulfillment.

The desire to “have it all” can often lead to feeling completely imbalanced and contribute to feelings of resentment, anxiety, and the sense of never quite measuring up. As adults we model these feelings and patterns to our children, continuing the cycle. Therapy is not a “one size fits all” situation and different people need different things from the process. Together, we can discover and tailor the best therapeutic interventions for you, your children, or your family. Using techniques such as somatic therapy, goal setting, cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation skills, boundary setting, or even just sitting down for 50 minutes and focusing on yourself and processing YOUR feelings can help alleviate stress and cultivate a more grounded and fulfilling life. I really enjoy what I do and believe we can make some really great discoveries together, so reach out to me and we can discuss the infinite possibilities!
